About These Terms
These Terms of Service apply when you access deadmemedept.com or purchase products from DeadMemeDept.
DeadMemeDept is operated by Lucas Koptev, an individual seller based in Finland.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.

Website Use
You may use this website only for lawful personal purposes.
You must not:
- Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the store
- Introduce harmful code or automated attacks
- Use store content for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
- Copy or commercially exploit protected store content without permission
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the store or our legal rights.
Products
We aim to describe and display products accurately.
Because products are printed and produced individually, small variations in print placement, garment colour, texture or appearance may occur. Colours may also appear differently depending on the customer’s screen.
Normal minor variations do not remove any rights the customer may have where an item is defective, damaged or materially different from its description.
Product availability may change without notice.
Made-to-Order Fulfilment
Products may be manufactured, printed, packaged and shipped by third-party fulfilment partners, including Printify and its selected print providers.
DeadMemeDept remains the seller responsible for customer service, complaints, returns, refunds and compliance with applicable consumer law.
Orders and Contract Formation
After an order is placed, the customer receives an electronic acknowledgement.
A binding sales contract is formed when the order has been accepted and payment has been successfully authorised.
We may cancel an order before fulfilment where there is a legitimate reason, including:
- Payment failure
- Suspected fraud or unauthorised payment
- An obvious pricing or technical error
- Product or material unavailability
- An invalid or undeliverable address
- A legal restriction preventing fulfilment
If we cancel a paid order, the customer will receive a full refund using the original payment method.
We will not cancel orders arbitrarily or in a way that removes mandatory consumer rights.
Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected or displayed by the store.
The final amount, including applicable taxes, discounts and shipping charges, is shown before the customer confirms payment.
Prices may change at any time, but price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Payments are processed securely by Shopify and the available third-party payment providers. DeadMemeDept does not directly store complete payment-card information.
Discount Codes and Promotions
Discounts are subject to the conditions displayed with the offer.
Unless specifically allowed:
- Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash
- Expired discounts cannot be used
- A discount cannot be added after an order has been completed
- Discounts may not combine with other promotions
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an obvious error, abuse or fraud. This does not affect orders that have already been validly accepted unless required by law.
Shipping and Delivery
Products are made to order and require production before shipment.
Production times and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Delays may occur because of stock availability, quality-control reprints, customs processing, carrier disruption, holidays, severe weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Current estimated production and delivery ranges are provided in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Where delivery is materially delayed, customers retain all rights available under applicable consumer law.
Customs and Import Charges
Orders may be shipped from a country different from the customer’s delivery country.
Unless taxes or duties are collected at checkout, international deliveries may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or carrier handling charges imposed by the destination country.
Where such charges apply, they are normally the customer’s responsibility. Any known mandatory charges collected by us will be displayed before the order is placed.
Returns, Withdrawal and Refunds
Returns, withdrawal requests, refunds and exchanges are governed by our Refund and Return Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right of withdrawal, legal guarantee or remedy available for damaged, defective, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Customers should contact support@deadmemedept.com if an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect or materially different from its description.
Please include:
- The order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs where relevant
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the DeadMemeDept name, branding, original artwork, graphics, photographs, written content and website materials are owned by or licensed to the store operator.
They may not be reproduced, sold, distributed, modified or used commercially without written permission.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, design or intellectual-property rights.
Nothing in this section prevents lawful personal use, quotation or other use permitted by applicable law.
Reviews and User Content
When you voluntarily submit a review, photograph or other content, you confirm that:
- You have the right to submit it
- It is based on your genuine experience
- It does not contain unlawful, abusive or infringing material
You grant DeadMemeDept a non-exclusive right to display and use that content for operating and promoting the store.
We may remove content that is unlawful, irrelevant, fraudulent or violates these terms. We will not alter genuine reviews in a misleading way.
Third-Party Services and Links
The store may use or link to third-party services such as Shopify, Printify, payment providers, shipping carriers and review platforms.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. DeadMemeDept is not responsible for unrelated third-party websites that we do not control.
This clause does not reduce our responsibility as the seller for orders placed through our store.
Liability
DeadMemeDept does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that:
- Were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed
- Result from the customer’s unlawful conduct or inaccurate information
- Relate to business or commercial use of products purchased as consumer goods
- Result solely from services or websites outside our control
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence or any mandatory consumer remedy.
Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as major carrier disruption, natural disasters, governmental restrictions, war, widespread network outages or labour disputes.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of such events and communicate significant delays where possible.
This section does not remove any right the customer may have to cancel an excessively delayed order under applicable law.
Privacy
Personal information is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
By using the store, you acknowledge that personal information required to process an order may be shared with service providers such as Shopify, Printify, payment processors and delivery companies.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the store, services or applicable law.
Changes apply from the date the updated terms are published. They do not retroactively change the terms governing an order that was already accepted, unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Finnish law.
Customers residing in another country retain any mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws applicable to them. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using a court or dispute-resolution procedure available under mandatory law.

Consumers in Finland may seek guidance from the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it may be submitted to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
